Africa boasts of a substantial portion of the world’s arable land, contributing significantly to global agricultural output. Yet, the continent captures a disproportionately small share of the value generated within these complex supply chains. This disparity is largely attributed to the predominance of smallholder farming systems, which have hindered the development of large-scale, commercially viable agricultural enterprises.
Africa is also home to a unique agro-ecological environment cultivating crops in high global demand. However, the continent has yet to fully capitalize on this potential.
Leveraging our extensive experience in investing, building and scaling global businesses, we aim to bridge this gap. By focusing on high-value African crops which we have comparative advantage in, we seek to transform the agricultural landscape. Our strategy is centered on value creation, industrialization, job creation, and community upliftment, while ensuring Africa retains a greater share of the value generated from its agricultural resources.
